On Sunday morning I felt refreshed and was looking forward to getting to Odda and the heart of two vast national parks.
I managed to get the bus from Haugesund to Bergen and it turned out to be the best bus ride I've ever taken despite also being the most expensive.
These first few days have taught me quite a bit, particularly about pack weight and weather forecasts.
The skies were dark when I arrived and it soon began to rain, only ceasing in the early hours of this morning. The clouds have dispersed and the weather is now beautiful for my first day of walking
