These are the words that greet you at Haugesund airport. The skies were dark when I arrived and it soon began to rain, only ceasing in the early hours of this morning. The clouds have dispersed and the weather is now beautiful for my first day of walking. I’ve managed to fit everything into the bag, but only just and it weighs in closer to 25kg, heavier than I planned.
This was the view from my tent at about 7 this morning, right on the coast in HaraldsHaugen campsite. I’m now walking North east to Skanevik which should take me three days.
