National Heritage Week takes place across Ireland from Saturday 18th to Sunday 26th August 2012.   There are over 1300 events due to take place across the country, the majority of which are free of charge.
To celebrate National Heritage Week, the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation is hosting a free event:-

“A Guided Bog Walk on Featherbed Mountain”

Meet at Glencree Centre
Sunday 19th August from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m
or
Saturday 25th August from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Not suitable for children under 5 years.
