We were delighted to welcome volunteer tree planters back to the Chatham Green site on Saturday 15th November 2014.   Adults, parents and children joined us to plant the next wave of saplings in our Diamond Jubilee Wood.    Over 12,000 trees have already been planted at Hyde Hall Farm, with the woodlands being officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal in January 2013.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who came to help on Saturday.     In total we added a further 200 trees to the wood, with another 600 to go.   Our next group of helpers will be arriving on Wednesday this week, when a group of volunteers from the Crown Records Office will be pulling on their wellies and digging in.
