Are you interested in working with young people and the outdoors?

The Wilderness Foundation rely on the help of our wonderful volunteers to assist across all of our programmes. Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved!

We are looking for volunteer Youth Leaders to assist with groups of 8-15 children aged 5-10 years who will help with the delivery of our activity camps taking place during the school holidays.

  • Seasonal camps (Chatham Green)
  • Forest Kids (Chatham Green)
  • Mentoring (Chatham Green/Across Essex)
  • General site maintenance (Chatham Green)
  • Imbewu trails (Scotland)
  • Admin (Chatham Green)

Who can volunteer?

People aged 18 years or over!  No previous experience is required.

Volunteers will receive safeguarding and role related training and have an induction prior to taking up their duties.

The Wilderness Foundation UK adheres to a Safer Recruitment Policy and all applicants will be required to complete a full application form and have an enhanced DBS Check.
