Fundraiser (Self Employed Part-Time)
Chelmsford  •  Contract  •  £25,000.00/year or pro-rata

Hours: 0900-1700, 2 days a week

First interview: 19th October 2020

Role Profile for example:

  • Research and identify national and local funding and grants to support the Foundation’s core costs and specific projects
  • Develop and write funding proposal/application independently
  • Develop strategy to achieve the Foundation’s monthly and annual fundraising target
  • Maintain accurate funding records and information
  • Work closely with the CEO and accounts department to ensure all grants are received and followed up with thank you letter and reports
  • Meeting potential funders together with the CEO

The successful candidate will be:

  • Believe in the same ethos as the Charity’s
  • Proven track record of raising successful funds
  • Experience in managing high value funders
  • With professional manner, excellent writing & communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, target driven and can work under tight schedule to meet deadlines
  • Strong organisation skill

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 16 per week
